The Malaysian Jeddah Bowlers (MJ Bowlers) organized The MJ Bowlers Cup 2018, a bowling tournament for Malaysians living in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia. The event which was held at the Jeddah Lanes Bowling Center, was patronized by the Consul General of Malaysia, Dato’ Mohammad Ali Bin Selamat. A total of 160 participants representing 24 teams of Malaysians from Jeddah, Yanbu, Rabigh and Makkah joined this event, which featured avid bowlers of all ages. Aside from the open category, the event also featured the MJ Bowlers Bakers Style format, which involved teams from Yanbu and the Jeddah Districts of Al-Faisalyah and Al-Safa. Sponsors for the tournament included Datasonic Group Berhad, UKSB, Felda Middle East (Felme), The Synergy International (TSI), Kedai Asia, Prasarana, Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Al-Jawi for Nutrition & Subsistence, Eita’s Kitchen and Komuniti Malaysia Hijazi (KMH). — SG
