Abdul Rashid held true with his strategies when MJ Bowlers succeeded against All Star In the two-game series with handicap championship of the Filipino Expatriated Damayan Bowling Group Friday PM Invitational Bowling League at the Bowling City here.
Actually, MJ Bowlers team also composed of Khair, Suhaime, Yasid, Haffiz, Affendy, Din and Yusri was fourth finisher with 612 points after the qualifying round. Ester Santoc’s All Star quailed No. 1 with 742, followed by Edward Botardo’s defending champion Wako-Wako (Bespren 2) with 705 and Richard Antonio’s Steelers with 679.
Rotating his tactic on their arsenal, MJ Bowlers got seeded to championship match after surviving the complicated format wherein All Star also bowled better against Wako-Wako that outplayed Steelers and Juraifani BCT.
With Rashid, Suhaime, Yasid and Din in the championship match, they turned out too much against All Star as Rolly Vistal, Ruel Santoc, Ernie Geslani and Santoc could not bulldoze the handicap of the earlier resulting in one-sided 2-game series battle.
